Spaceship Earth at the Sydney Customs House

Taking inspiration from Buckminster Fuller’s invocation of “Spaceship Earth” as a framework for approaching our relationship with the Earth, the Sydney Customs House is hosting Spaceship Earth: Observing our Planet from Satellites, an exhibition of “spectacular satellite imagery and videos, including data visualisations of the earth’s ocean currents, seasonal vegetation changes, global cloud, wind and carbon pollution flows, night lights of cities, and commercial aircraft flights.”

Displayed across three floors of the Customs House at Circular Quay, the exhibition will run until 20 July 2014, and is part of Sydney’s annual Vivid Sydney festival, as well as the Sydney Biennale.
