Kate Orff to head Columbia University’s Urban Design Program

A recent FastCo article featured Kate Orff, founder of SCAPE and winner of the 2014 Challenge for Living Breakwaters, as she takes over as director of Columbia University's Urban Design program. Orff said of the appointment that her "goal is to magnify the social and humanitarian ethos that the program is well known for, and bring it together with themes of infrastructure, urbanism, and climate dynamics."
