SOCAP16 in San Francisco

SOCAP16 is the world’s leading conference on impact investing and social enterprise. Held at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, September 13-16, SOCAP16 will unite innovators in business, tech, the sharing economy, health, philanthropy, and more to advance environmental and social causes.

Since 2008, SOCAP has hosted over 12,000 attendees, making it the world’s largest convening of impact investors and social entrepreneurs. The conference covers cutting edge and relevant topics including: social enterprise, impact investing, strategic philanthropy, people-powered capital, technology for good, design for social innovation, the biosphere economy, and more.

SOCAP Open Deadline: May 31st, 2016

SOCAP Open is a community submission and voting platform for session ideas to advance the conversation at SOCAP16. Members of the community are invited to submit session ideas now through May 31st. Proposals will be reviewed by SOCAP’s advisory panel of experts and voted on by the general public.

Selected session organizers will have the opportunity to present their ideas to SOCAP16 attendees and receive a complimentary ticket to SOCAP16.

SOCAP Open proposals should be aligned with the primary interests and passions of the SOCAP community, including the SOCAP16 Conference Themes. Ideas that fall outside of the conference themes that are relevant to other areas of social innovation will still be considered.

● 5/31/16 Final day to submit an idea to SOCAP Open
● 6/16/16 Commenting and voting period ends
● 6/16/16 – 06/28/16 Judging panel and final selection by SOCAP16 Content Team
● 06/29/16 Winning sessions announced to session organizers
