I'm about to delve in to college life but want walk away from it with abilities and knowledge to change the world - Bucky style. What direction would you take to give the most by following Fuller's footsteps? I'm very intrigued to read the responses, if any. Thanks,
FLOATING BREAKWATER (1979) - U.S. PATENT - 4,136,994Submitted by Michael Russo on Wed, 2008-07-16 15:19.
Not knowing exactly what "Design Science" is, I contend Bucky's Floating Breakwater - U.S. PATENT - 4,136,994 - has more potential NOW than it did in 1977. Is anyone prepared to produced one of these things? We have a location on Narragansett Bay in Providence, RI, that could definitely benefit from the installation of this technology. Please visit us at www.savebay.org to find out more. Very truly to yours, Michael Russo, Save the Bay Facilites Manager Antiprism transformationsSubmitted by Dick Fischbeck on Fri, 2008-01-18 11:12.

Youtube is as good a place as any to archive design science videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0hkz9b9MbQ | posted in: | help Creating A Preferred StateSubmitted by Christina Herlofson on Wed, 2006-09-13 21:57.
CREATING A PREFERRED STATE First I'd like to express my appreciation for all the contributors to the WPVM, Chautauqua Radio interviews and essays in the wonderfully long dedication to Bucky Fuller. It was wonderful to hear everyone talk about his Anticipatory Design Science and memories of his darling personality. I especially like the idea of creating a preferred state through education and the intuitive method from the Design Science Lab. Empowering children with Bucky's map, too, is definitely a worthwhile endeavor. | posted in: | help WorkshopsSubmitted by Dick Fischbeck on Fri, 2006-08-18 12:13.

Now available! It sounds like a great place to learn about design science. Fuller Collection digitized, available online through library "Over 380 hours of rare lectures and public talks by the late inventor R. Buckminster Fuller can now be downloaded through Stanford University Libraries. The recently debuting, fully digitized multimedia archive features Fuller's work, made popular during the 1960s and 1970s.
