hello i am new to forum, and i have a question relating to domes, i wish to build a dome with an external living skin of creeping vines on a tension net arrangment, am i right in assuming that some of the nodes ore in compression and some in tension? when i build it seems tat some want to implode and some want to explode so to speak , is there a way of determiing
this ? For example if building a dome that is an icosahedron and dodecahedron combination is one shape in the dual in tension and the other in compression ,or am i completely on the wrong track with this line of thinking. I would appreciate any input.
