RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND IDEAS

Submitted by DomePiper on Fri, 2006-09-01 00:03.

Greetings Everyone!!
As of 8/21/2006, I announced on my website that at least half of all monies made by my various record sales/downloads will go to a RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND tentatively called The Rusty Nails Renewable Initiative. I am open to various ideas or projects dealing with the actual physical implementation of renewable energy systems in our society. I would fully appreciate any ideas and of course any factors to consider. Currently, I'm thinking of something to do with Photovoltaics since I'm quite familiar with them. Case in point, I have a grid-tie system on the roof of my current house. Perhaps a system on top of school or something like that. CHEERS AND MANY THANKS!!!!!

Dymaxion Transport Vehicle

Submitted by carloz1 on Fri, 2005-12-16 16:23.

I met a gentleman the other day who was a friend of Buckminster Fuller. He has a notebook of blueprints by Buckminster Fuller of his Dymaxion Transport Vehicle. It's from the 4 D company in
Bridgeport, Conn. The index is hand typed with a couple of
hand written changes. The notebook is about 2'' thick and
is full of folded large blueprints of the vehicle.
The man that owns it is 85 and in bad health and is looking for
a home for this item. Would anyone here have any recommendations regarding this?

TRANSFINANCIAL ECONOMICS, OR NON-TAXATION MONETARY REFORM.

Submitted by Robert Searle on Thu, 2005-11-24 09:25.

DEAR ALL,

It may be that those on the forum may be interested in Transfinancial Economic, or Non-Taxation Monetary Reform. This is the concept that instead of direct, and indirect taxes democratic governments could have new unearned money created instead to fund social, economic, and political programmes. Likewise ngos, or non-governmental organisations could also receive funds in full, or in part to finance their various projects. This would have huge humanitarian, and democratic implications for humanity....

Login instructions for BFI.org pioneers

Submitted by admin on Fri, 2005-11-04 18:49.

Welcome, pioneer settlers of the new BFI.org!

We are thrilled to start populating the new BFI discussion forums and creating a worldwide network of participants. What we want you to know and understand, right off the bat, is that this is your place. You, other members, and new participants will create this community, meet each other here, share thoughts, update each other on projects, even collaborate... and the gestalt of this organism will be created now, at the beginning, with the tones and styles we set.

We want BFI.org to be lively, friendly, intelligent, and open. One of the goals of these discussions is to make room for new interested people who can learn about Bucky's work and legacy. There is ample space here for both dyed-in-the-wool Bucky aficianados and experts, and those for whom he is little more than the guy who invented the dome. And we hope there will be some mixing among the two!
